The love of family and the lengths we're willing to go to for them. I loved seeing the positive effects Brielle had on Wyatt and the love they eventually came to have for each other. The story was hot and steamy yet sweet at the same time.

I bought this book thinking it was a similar story I'd read a preview to. I'm going to be honest that the disappointment could be coloring this review.
This was awful and disjointed. I couldn't keep up with the whiplash and indecision, so finally gave up. It did not draw me in, and was over all rough, and unpolished.
Good story concept, rough actualization of it. Could have been better if it wasn't so rushed.
I paid the extra 1.99 for the whispersync version and it's like the narrators are speed reading to see how fast they can get this over with. I couldn't listen to mover then 20 minutes of it for the fast reading of it. Plus the narrators did not fit the story. I may have finished the book but I honestly couldn't stand the narration. I do whispersync as it's hard for me to hold even my e-reader due to arthritis. I love how many books are available with this but I feel as if I wasted 6 bucks on a book I can't stand to listen to.

This was the first book I have ever returned for a refund! It just wasn't good! The storyline had potential, and the beginning showed some type of promise, but it just was NOT a good read. The story jumped around, seemed like tons of details were missing, and was a mediocre read.. at very best. I wanted to like it, and I purchased it despite the bad reviews, but I'm sad to say it just didn't work.
Her mother is dying just like her sister did of cancer, she's working herself too much to be able to afford to make her mother comfortable she never thought a random stranger would give her a quarter of a million dollars just to pay for her mother to get better. Will this money come with strings or an attachment she is lead to believe doesn't.
I'm sorry. I tried to like this book, I really did. Was anyone else reading the same book I did? First off, I felt the characters were only about half-way developed. We're given a small glimpse into their backgrounds, which helps establish motivation, but not much else. I understand creating complex characters is difficult to do in such a short time, but they all felt very static to me. In addition, the dialogue of what was supposed to be a group of well-educated adults (at least in the case of the Wilds) was very juvenile and expletive filled. I am a health professional in my mid-20's and if anyone talked like that around me, I would assume they were immature and uneducated. Lastly, the story itself was just beyond the realm of believability. All due respect, I realize books about "Alpha Billionaires" are in itself firmly fiction, but I felt that everything that happened to Brielle would happen to a character on "Days of Our Lives" over the course of several years worth of episodes. I believe the series of events in this book primarily take place over the course of several months. Yes, life can be awful, but rarely, if ever, is it quite so melodramatic. I hope the author will continue to write and improve. I thought the premise and idea for the story was very creative, if the execution left something to be desired.
Definitely recommend. The lead female is very strong willed and holds her mother to higher standards. But after she leaves to repay her debt with the billionaire, and her mom comes to visit her mom has been changed after she made a full recovery from being so close to deaths door. The romance between the lead female and the lead male are very hot and heavy at first and just seems to keep going until the lead females mother shows up unexpectedly and after she fights with her mom and the billionaire's sister and outs a secret she should not have told she packs her bags and leaves. Then later finds out she's pregnant with his baby after she gets settled back into her old life.
